Well, that’s Full Circle - a whole year has passed since I started my Anglo-Saxon calendar, and we are back in Thrimilch, the month of three milkings per day. While I was away we entered a new solar month, Eastermonth or Oster, which began after the Spring Equinox, which happened to be the Autumnal Equinox for me because I was in New Zealand. It is now the 28th, so we are nearly through that month already.

We also entered a new lunar month, Márt/Alder/Ogronios, and I saw the new moon through until third quarter in New Zealand. This was interesting because the moon was upside-down compared to our normal view of it and appeared to be moving backwards to its normal monthly motion through the sky. The highlight was the …

Back Home

Well, we have been back a week or so now. Initially it was a bit depressing but I am back into the routine again. It’s a bit of an anti-climax because, basically, that was the best holiday I have ever had. Four and a half weeks away, with four in New Zealand, and three days in Sydney. The sights and experiences were out of this world.

Anyway, we are thinking of going there to stay permanently, if I can get a job over there. It would solve a lot of problems and it would be a nicer way of life. …
